This session outlines a process for identifying systems issues, instructional delivery issues, and decision-making concerns that are impacting AYP attainment.

This training features 20 steps our firm finds essential when working with schools to improve the performance of students with disabilities. These 20 steps are categorized across three broad systems issues:

Learner Outcomes

This training is designed for principals, assistant principals, and central office administrators.

Each participant will learn:

  •  A framework for cultural proficiency
  •  Process skills students need and how to explicitly teach them
  •  The missing link: healthier students are better learners
  •  Steps for building authentic relationships with students and families
  •  To evaluate the effectiveness of in-class supports
  •  The importance of pre-assessments to pinpoint starting points and interests
  •  To Substitute “Accelerated” strategies instead of “Remediation” approaches
