Responsible Scheduling
One of the most challenging aspects of addressing the needs of students with disabilities is the scheduling of these services that is reflective of the school's master schedule process. Virtual Scheduling is a step-by-step sequence of activities that is designed to meet the desire of a workable scheduling procedure. The activities embedded in this scheduling process are aligned to best practices for supporting students with disabilities along a continuum of services that includes external support, in-class support, and specialized support. Particular attention is provided in the areas of master scheduling, special education personnel providing support to students with disabilities both in general education and specialized settings, collaborative planning time allotments, and support analysis.
Learner Outcomes
- Determine appropriate level of supports for students with disabilities;

- Understand the scheduling process in response to the participant's school as is reflected within the development of the campus academic master schedule.
