A Little About My Professional Career...

Dr. Arnold Adair has 40 years of experience in the educational field—all of those were with Deer Park ISD. He began his career in 1975 as a Teacher and Coach and then became Assistant Principal and later Principal at Deer Park Junior High School. Arnold was named Executive Director of Secondary Instruction in 1994 and served in that capacity until 1999 when he was named Deputy Superintendent for Instruction. In February of 2004, Dr. Adair was named Superintendent of Schools for Deer Park Independent School District. Dr. Adair currently served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston Clear Lake where he teaches courses in the Doctoral program. Arnold is married with three children and nine grandchildren ranging is ages 4 to 21. Four of the seven are currently enrolled as third generation DPISD students.

When I'm Not Working...

I am scuba diving or thinking about diving. My favorite dives are those that include large pelagics…the bigger the better. When I am not diving or working I am traveling with my wife to various parts of the world.
