A Little About My Professional Career...

Ann McIntyre began her career in education as a speech language pathologist. During the first 18 years, she worked at various levels in public education including special education supervision and district administration. Ms. McIntyre spent 9 years with Region IV Education Service Center in Houston providing leadership to educators in her areas of expertise which included early learning, language and literacy, and computer based instruction.

In the early 1990’s, Ms. McIntyre became an independent consultant in order to share her expertise in professional development, instructional design, technology integration, and literacy with a broader audience. Throughout her 16 years of independent consulting, she was associated with major educational publishing companies as a trainer, training manager, course developer, subject matter expert and senior program consultant. Additionally, she provided customized consulting services to several urban school districts throughout the nation. Ms. McIntyre also worked as an adjunct consultant with Stetson & Associates during this interim. Prior to rejoining Stetson & Associates as an Associate, Ann was the Executive Director for a statewide implementation of a differentiated literacy program in Hawaii and received the 2009 Company Leadership Award for ensuring the success of the implementation.
