Families are the most important people in their children's lives. The younger the child, the more critical it is for the teacher to have an effective relationship with the family in order to support the growth and development of the whole child. 1. Describe reciprocal family relationships and the importance of family involvement
  2. Five steps for getting families involved
  3. General strategies to support family involvement
  4. Basic facts about transition
  5. Collaborative transition practices
